Nice people at the desk. Room is alright. Smelled strange. Feels "old school" motel....they do have free WiFi.
The pillows, though soft, are very thin, so I do recommend that you bring a pillow or two.

The beds were very comfortable. I fell asleep very quickly, no need to try and find the best position, because you can fall asleep in any position. The convenience of a TV makes for a good passtime. Just make sure to bring snacks. Also, if you're a NASCAR fan and Room 8 is available, choose it. You'll definitively enjoy your stay.
Overall, if you plan on staying in Charles Town, Hometown Inn is the place to stay!
If I could have given this place 0 stars, I would have. Worst, most disgusting place I've ever been. Please save yourself nightmares and spend an extra 10$ or 20$ a night and stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6.
It was the epitome if a seedy motel. Service was terrible and unprofessional. The room was gross and the bed bug covers were dry rotting. The heat did not work and when I talked to the owner all he did was give me a space heater that did not work. It was expensive and there are no refunds. The board of health should be contacted on this place.
